North Shore Towers is a premier gated community located on the north shore of Long Island, bordering Queens and Nassau County. Our property features a private country club with an 18-hole golf course, five Har-Tru tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a basketball court.

We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to help lead our Grounds Maintenance Team . The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing all aspects of outdoor grounds work and eager to take on increasing levels of responsibility as a team leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily grounds maintenance operations, ensuring top-quality conditions across all club facilities
• Perform and oversee chemical and fertilizer calibrations and applications
• Manage irrigation systems, water management practices, and the use and maintenance of the Toro Lynx system
• Conduct and supervise irrigation repairs and general maintenance
• Support a positive team culture and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Schedule

The Grounds Department takes pride in maintaining excellent conditions for our members while supporting a balanced work schedule.

• During peak season, weekend shifts are rotated with scheduled time off during the week

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience with fertilizer and chemical applications and calibration
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management techniques
• Irrigation repair experience required
• Familiarity with the Toro Lynx irrigation system preferred
• NYS Pesticide License a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
