Maquoketa Golf Club has an immediate opening for a Golf Course Superintendent

The Golf Course Superintendent is a key member of the management team. the Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and agronomy practices for the golf course and adjacent grounds including, but not limited to, the practice range, parking lots and Clubhouse landscaping. The Golf Course Superintendent is also responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and facilities including the Clubhouse, Maintenance Shed, and Cart Storage Sheds.

The Qualified Person will have the following Experience and Skills:

Experience

Turf Grass Management Program Graduate

Golf Course Irrigation System Experience

Golf Course Equipment Maintenance

Chemical & Pesticide Application

Budgeting and Expense Management

Skills

Well Organized

Good Communicator

Good Problem Solver

Excellent Personnel Management Skills

Preparation of Weekly Work Schedules

Training & Supervision of Employees

Mechanical Ability

Calibrate & Operate Pesticide Sprayer
