Hiddenbrooke Golf Club located in Vallejo, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

General Purpose

The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance of the golf course.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, and seeds greens, tees, and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
• Must be dependable
