Description

Marshall Paetzel Landscape Architecture is seeking a Junior Landscape Designer for a full-time position in our Mattituck design studio on the North Fork of Long Island.  MPLA is an innovative and growing firm specializing primarily in high-end residential, resort, and environmental restoration projects.  

Requirements

•        Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture preferred.  
•        1+ year experience preferred
•        Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office 
•        Experience with 3-D rendering software (e.g. Sketch up, Lumion, Rhino) 
•        Experience creating construction documents and details
•        Strong design sense and attention to detail
•        Plant knowledge, particularly natives, a plus, but willing to train.
•        Skilled in a variety of graphic mediums, hand and computer
•        Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
•        Strong organizational skills
•        Ability to work independently as well as a team player
•        Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
