From the Ground Up is seeking a talented and highly motivated Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join our creative Dallas Design Studio. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead design-driven, high-end residential landscape projects across the greater Dallas area, working closely with a collaborative team of designers, construction professionals, and discerning clients.

The ideal candidate blends creativity, technical precision, and strong client relationship skills, bringing design vision to life from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead or support multiple residential landscape projects from concept through construction completion
* Develop and refine design drawings, plans, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related platforms
* Conduct site analysis, field inventory, and design development in collaboration with the project team.
* Prepare construction drawings, cost estimates, proposals, and project contracts
* Oversee construction documentation and communicate intent to operations and field teams.
* Perform site visits and project check-ins to ensure build quality and design fidelity
* Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring satisfaction and aligning expectations throughout the process. 
* Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain design integrity and project efficiency. 
* Support business development and company growth through client engagement and referral cultivation.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent professional experience
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture/design with emphasis on high-end residential projects. 
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong conceptual and technical design abilities with attention to proportion, materials, and detail
* Excellent presentation, communication, and client relationship skills
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
* Professional licensure (PLA) or track toward licensure preferred, but not required.
