MEH Groundworks is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Irrigation Specialist to join our growing team. This position requires a skilled professional with hands-on experience in commercial irrigation system installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

The ideal candidate must be able to independently read and interpret irrigation plans, execute installations according to project specifications, diagnose system issues, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and can manage irrigation projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on irrigation experience, preferably in commercial applications.
Ability to read and interpret commercial irrigation construction plans is required.
Demonstrated experience installing complete commercial irrigation systems.
Strong knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, valves, piping, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting procedures.
Experience performing irrigation repairs, preventative maintenance, startups, and winterizations.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of commercial irrigation experience.
Experience leading irrigation installations or directing small crews.
Familiarity with Rain Bird, Hunter, and other commercial irrigation systems.
Experience with two-wire systems, smart controllers, and commercial irrigation troubleshooting.
Irrigation industry certifications or applicable backflow prevention certifications.
Experience coordinating irrigation work on commercial construction sites.
