The Village of Oak Brook is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent to join the Oak Brook Golf Club team. This position reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and plays a key role in staff management, daily course maintenance, facility preparation, and seasonal project oversight.

Salary Range: $67,873.51 - $92,046.77 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, oversee, train, and schedule seasonal employees.

• Maintain and repair the irrigation system.

• Oversee daily course set-up and scheduling.

• Administer pesticide and fertilizer applications; maintain required certifications and licenses.

• Serve as a positive role model and assist with grounds and facility needs.

• Manage small seasonal projects as assigned.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
The role is primarily outdoors and requires standing for long periods, physical labor, operation of machinery, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in inclement weather and emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in turfgrass management (Bachelor's preferred) or 10 years experience.

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

• Ability to obtain an Illinois Pesticide Applicators License.

• Strong work ethic and ability to lead in a team environment.

• Ability to work extended evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual Spanish/English highly recommended.
