Position Summary - The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Director of Agronomy in managing, directing, and leading the team in maintaining the Club's golf course.

Responsibilities -

• Leadership skills fostering a culture of attention to detail, quality, and success
• Staff supervision and delegation of maintenance tasks and responsibilities
• Active in management of Pump Station and Toro Irrigation System
• Assist in development of annual Agronomic Plan and crew training
• Maintain proper safety compliance and recordkeeping
• Provide insight into future long-term capital improvements
• Effective communication skills with Director of Agronomy, General Manager, Director of Golf
• Member Engagement
• Collaborate with Director of Agronomy on IPM applications executing programs that promote exceptional play conditions

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Turf Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years with proven agronomic experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• FL Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment
• Valid FL Driver's License
• Knowledge of Tif Eagle & Celebration Bermudagrass
